I couldn't find a picture so just I'll tell you who it is:Nelson Mandela.
I used the word "quantify" wrong the other day.I meant to use the word "qualify".Now,for someone like me who is good with words, that's surprising that I would use a word that isn't even close!

Going back to a Vox Hunt from a bit ago, here's something I'd like explained to me:
I've always been fascinated by Easter Island. It's one of the places in the world that I would LOVE to visit-but it's very remote.(Edited to add:it's part of Chile, not Peru.Oops.But it's far enough away that it's in fact closer to Polynesia.Weird, hunh?)And the place names, and the native names for the statues are more Polynesian than Spanish.

I made a new recipe from the latest issue of Everyday Food last night for dinner-a chicken pot pie.And it was from scratch-I actually had to make the sauce, instead of using a can of soup. And the crust was phyllo dough, which lightened it up a LOT(but man is phyllo dough ever hard to work with!let me tell you!)
Show us an artist who you wish would hurry up and put out a new album.
They're working with Justin Timberlake, which has *horrified* some Duran Duran fans.I dunno,I've REALLY liked the stuff that I've heard from the new Duran Duran album-and it's been well over 20 years since I was what I would consider a die hard Duranie.Though the title (Red Carpet Massacre) is meh. They could have come up with something better(this the band that has an album called Seven And The Ragged Tiger, fercryinoutloud!)
BTW, if you're looking for an overview of Duran Duran's music, you can't go wrong with Greatest :)
