I took my blood sugar this morning and it was 108(if you know anything about diabetes you know that's good).
*Patrick Swayze's situation is so sad.He may be responding well to chemotherapy, but I think, sadly,we'll be robbed of his talent(he's done some good movies!) sooner rather than later.
*Today when I was on the treadmill at the gym(go me!)they were talking about a episode of Medium where one of the characters is a POW/would-be presidential candidate/cannibal.And he's from Arizona.Gee,who does that sound like? :P So now there is a "controversy" that this is the "liberal" media poking fun at Republicans.Oh freaking PLEASE. There are some people who are in SERIOUS need of a sense of humour,IMO.
*My dad and I did Meals On Wheels today(my mom had a get-together with friends of hers so it was my dad and I-which was fine:)My dad had a good navigator(me).
*Yes,I'm a Douglas Adams fan. :P
For one thing,I went to the gym 4 days in a row this week.Yeah.I'm so proud of myself for doing so.I am teh awesome :P
Secondly,I have been getting a lot of things I need to do done lately. That makes me feel really good!
Thirdly, I did Meals On Wheels today. We had a new person to deliver to.Not sure if he'll be a permanent thing, since the last few times we've had at least one new person. We had someone who we were delivering Meals On Wheels to for a couple of weeks, then we didn't anymore.Maybe the need to have Meals On Wheels comes and goes for some people-whereas some of the people we deliver to always get the same meals.
You have to love rumours:Amy Winehouse was rumoured to be doing the theme for Quantum Of Solace(a.k.a Bond 22)
This is the song from the new macbook ads(thanks to invisiblesparks for posting the song on her blog)
=========================================================================I can't believe that Mardi Gras is next Tuesday.Am I giving up anything for Lent? No.I am going to go to Mass every Sunday during Lent, though. It's the least I can do.

When I find something that brings the lulz you KNOW I will post it. I think this counts(not safe for work and you may not want to click on it if you are eating):P)

I am ready to walk away from the James Bond messageboard that I post on.The situation there has gotten even worse since the last time I mentioned it.

My mom and I did Meals On Wheels. As always it was a lot of fun.We both get a lot out of doing Meals On Wheels, and i always say I feel good afterwards-and it's true!
Today is my brother Steve's birthday- and Ceji's-happy birthday to both of them :) I made Steve 2 best of Travis CD's-with a bunch of what I think are the best Travis songs. He was glad to get them,so I was happy :)
We went out to dinner at Robbie's Roadhouse in Leucadia for dinner-the food there was really good.

Yesterday I went to Trader Joe's to get a salad for my dinner. You kknow how they always have samples?Well, the sample was of their masala veggie burger with tzatsiki(sp?) sauce. I liked it, so I bought both and had them for dinner last night.Oh.My.God. they were SO good. You have to like Indian flavours though(it's not spicy, but still..)I still have two veggie burgers left and will probably have them for dinner tomorrow.

I watched this trippy movie called The Acid House yesterday. It's based on a book of 3 short stories by the same guy that wrote Trainspotting.I liked it,even though most people would go "whattheF" whilst watching it.I didn't need the subtitles-the 3 movies that made up the movie were set in Scotland and I think the thought was that people wouldn't be able to understand any of it but I did-I have no problem understanding Scottish accents :P

My mom and I did Meals On Wheels today and as always it was great. We have had 12 people we deliver meals to the past few times, pretty consistently.
The lady who drops off the meals at our pick up point said that there are 2 ladies who do the same route we do(on a different day),but they take 2 hours to get it done. We're on our way at 11 a.m. and back at the pick up/drop off(the empty coolers and whatnot)spot by 12:30.We've got our route down at this point.Near as we could figure, they're either getting really lost(hard to do with the directions they give you to each person's house-maybe they're doing it their way which I think is a bad idea, but there you go)or else they're hanging out talking to each client for a while.
The new season of Wife Swap started last night.I enjoyed the hell out of it.They had a feminist mom swapping lives with a stage mom(her daughter was in pageants;had been since she was 11 months old(!) ) Surprisingly, I found myself siding with the feminist mom a lot more than the stage mom.The feminist mom was not at all like I thought she would be;I consider myself a feminist but my definition of feminism is probably different from other peoples'.

My mom and I did Meals On Wheels today. We had a whole bunch-12-of people.I didn't mind though.I always enjoy doing Meals On Wheels.

Bond 22 started filming today-no real news, just confirmation about who is going to be in the film, that sort of thing. No word on a title or anything but I suspect that's coming soon(at least I hope it is..people at the James Bond boards I post on are anxious for a title to be announced.)
*The guy who knocked up Jamie Lynn Spears is 19 years old. She's 16.If I'm not mistaken that's rape.Unless she consented, which I rather doubt. This is a tricky subject because it's common for girls of 16 and 17 to get pregnant.I'd like to be sensitive towards those people. If it happens it happens.
The lady who drops our Meals(On Wheels) at the place we pick them up was early today-15 minutes-which almost never happens-usually she's there right at 11 a.m. more or less.I liked the fact that she got there early-though I was surprised that only one person mentioned it.I commented on it to one of the people we deliver to,who always says that we're late.I don't take it personally, she's a sweet lady and one of my favourite people to deliver Meals On Wheels to :)
