*I am going to go to an early showing of Hellboy II:The Golden Army tomorrow

*Finish packing for my trip(yes,I'm an overachiever.But I don't want to leave it 'till the last minute :) )

*Hang out at Barnes & Noble Saturday morning/afternoon

*Go to Romeo and Juliet at the Old Globe Saturday night

*Hang out with some friends of the family on Sunday.

Like I said, a full plate.But I don't mind it :)

Usually,as soon my head hits the pillow I am out like a light.Not last night.I did NOT sleep very well at all last night.But surprisngly I feel refreshed even so(I can function well even with only a few hours of sleep.I've always been that way.)

Have you ever broken a bone? If not, what's the worst injury you've sustained?

I broke a bone in my foot when I was in high school.It didn't hurt that bad though-I remember refusing Advil several times,so the pain wasn't that bad.I got out of p.e. for the best part of a month,which I *loved*.

Last night I Im'ed with iBookboy,a friend of mine for a couple of years now,for several hours,about a myriad of topics. It was a lot of fun:) Hopefully we'll both be on IM again at the same time soon.

How you know you're addicted to Starbucks:When you go to an airport's website(in this case Atlanta's) to find out how many Starbucks they have there(I'm going through Atlanta on the way to my cousin's wedding.)There's one in almost every concourse at Atlanta's airport, and in the ones where there aren't, they have something similar, fortunately :P

Coldstone Creamery is advertising a blueberry muffin batter flavour ice cream.I love blueberries, and I'm sure I'd love it save for one thing:It's is this unnatural purply-blue colour.And I mean,not a little bit, a LOT.It's enough to not make me try it, blueberries or no.Coldstone seems to specialise in those odd flavours, though :)

The fireworks were a bit of a washout-the fog rolled in, bigtime,so we couldn't really see anything.Last night,I dreamt that I was watching fireworks-and more about some of my dreams last night in a minute.

The fact that it was the Fourth Of July yesterday and all the news about the hostages being released(which was amazing by the way!) meant that the fact that Jesse Helms died went unnoticed.I won't say that I'm happy that he died(the last time I did that, when Jerry Falwell died, I got a very negative response to my post.)

It's a good thing in the sense that these old guard Republicans like Strom Thurmond,Jesse Helms and Jerry Falwell are starting to die,I mean, that's NOT going to take care of the problem of race in this country, but so sue me, it's a step in the right direction *waits for hate mail*

Last night I dreamt that I decided to sign up to do a 5 K run.I am nowhere NEAR in good enough shape to run a 5 K.But for some reason I walked into this hotel lobby where they were signing people up for a 5 k.I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork.For my trouble, the lady who was getting me signed up gave a HUGE piece of cake in a fancy box.She didn't give me a fork or anything though so I had to eat it with my fingers(!)

Then I went to wash my hands and these two guys came up to me and were accusing me of all these bizarre things.Eventually someone got them to leave and when I went back to finish registering for the run, the lady wasn't there,as what was left of the cake.I think she knew I wasn't serious.

I made potato salad and deviled eggs that I took to the the party we went to,both of which were a huge hit,so I was happy :)

*points to subject line* when it comes to other holidays, I have self control.But I always overeat on the Fourth Of July.I was SO bad today,I ate a lot of stuff that I shouldn't have.I'm dreading checking my blood sugar tomorrow :P

I took my blood sugar this morning and it was 108(if you know anything about diabetes you know that's good).

My mom and I did Meals On Wheels today and as always,it was great.We had a new person which was cool.

You know you're too organised when:I am doing a little bit of packing for my trip to Baton Rouge and New Orleans(we don't leave 'till the 17th of this month but I thought I'd get some of it done just the same).

Went down to San Diego on the Coaster and ran into some friends that I hadn't seen in a while so that was cool:)

The movie doesn't come out for a couple more weeks yet,but the ads for Mama Mia have been on TV *constantly* so I've had Abba songs stuck in my head :P
